Join a meeting
Participants have four (4) ways to join a meeting. The first option is to join by using the Join WebEx Meeting link in the email invite you received or by going to our WebEx webpage (https://west-chester.webex.com) or clicking on the published WebEx meeting link where you our meetings are posted on the website. You can also join a meeting by phone using the published meeting phone number and PIN,
BE SURE TO IDENTIFY YOURSELF
You will be asked to type in your name and email address before joining the meeting. Be sure to enter your full name so you can be easily identified, especially if want to participate.
Join the Meeting
Click the Join Meeting button.
Call By Phone
If you are having issues connecting via computer audio, call in by phone (the phone and PIN are on the front page).
You can select which devices (speakers, microphone, camera) you would like to use by selecting button # 6 (black - 3 dots). If you have a webcam and want to connect by video as well, select the webcam under Speaker, microphone and camera.
LEAVING THE MEETING
When the meeting is finished, participants can leave the meeting by clicking on the Leave Meeting (RED X) button on the control bar at the bottom of the screen.
When joining the meeting make sure your microphone is muted. Only unmute if you have been invited to speak.
Be aware of what is happening around you. Family members and pets should not be near you during the meeting.
Be aware of background noise. Background noise can unmute your microphone and disturb the meeting.
