West Chester ranked #250 in “U.S. Cities with the Best & Worst Credit Scores” Report.

West Chester, Pennsylvania [April 14, 2017]:

West Chester ranked #250 in LendEDU’s “U.S. Cities with the Best & Worst Credit Scores” report.

The rankings for this report were developed by using licensed data from Experian.  LendEDU evaluated the VantageScore 3.0 credit scores for thousands of cities throughout the United States. A population cutoff was set at 20,000. We were able to rank the 500 cities in the U.S. that had the best average credit scores.

The full report and methodology can be found here: https://lendedu.com/blog/best-credit-score/

Borough Council is proud that West Chester ranked so favorably in the for the “U.S. Cities with the Best & Worst Credit Scores” list. Financial stability is one of the most important indicators of a healthy municipality, and West Chester’s implementation of sound fiscal practices and management controls ensures that its high credit rating and its Aa bond rating will be maintained in the future.
