New York City on Own
Spend the day in NYC on your own! Walk through popular Times Square, take a carriage ride through Central Park, tour the Empire State Building, catch a Broadway show or go shopping for the day. The day is yours for you to enjoy New York City. Trip includes transpiration, snack, and bus driver’s tip. Dates:

Day 1 ~ Sunday, October 7
7:00 AM Depart West Chester. Rest stops en route. Enjoy a visit to the beautiful Maymont Mansion. Maymont was the 100-acre Victorian country estate of James Henry and Sallie May Dooley. The estate stands today as a remarkably complete expression of Gilded Age luxury and opulence. Overnight in Lumberton, NC.
Dinner included this evening at the Cracker barrel.
Day 2 ~ Monday, October 8
Enjoy Breakfast at the hotel before we check out and head for Savannah, GA.. Upon arrival we’ll enjoy a guided tour of one of the most historic cities in America. Check into your Historic District Hotel and freshen up before dinner at Lady and Son’s Restaurant, after dinner enjoy the evening “On your own”
Day 3 ~ Tuesday, October 9
Enjoy breakfast at the Hotel. Enjoy the day to do as you please—You will find a wealth of historic sights, shopping, dining and tourist attractions within walking distance and a trolley system that is very convenient to use. Consider the Georgia Queen Riverboat , Trolley Tours Historic Walking Tours and Ghost Tours.
Day 4 ~ Wednesday, October 10
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out . Depart for Charleston with a stop en route at the famous Angel Oak Tree before we visit the Charleston Tea Plantation for a factory tour and a trolley tour thru the tea fields with a narrated history of the making of America’s only tea. Enjoy breathtaking views of the tea plants—We’ll have a box lunch here as well. Arrive in Charleston and enjoy a guided historic tour of beautiful Charleston, a city steeped in historical culture and heritage. Check into your Downtown Historic district hotel and enjoy the evening as you please.
Day 5 ~ Thursday, October 11
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Check out and depart for Magnolia Plantation—Step back in time with a half-hour guided tour of the Drayton family home. The current main House – the core of which was built prior to the Revolutionary War near Summerville, South Carolina and floated down the Ashley River to Magnolia after the Civil War — gives a glimpse of plantation life in the 19th century and beyond. Ten rooms are open to the public, furnished with early-American antiques, porcelain, quilts, and other Drayton family heirlooms. Guides describe life in the 19th century, using furniture and household objects to bring plantation culture alive. You may visit the History Room after the tour where another guide is available to answer questions and provide more information on the current owners of the Plantation. You also have a tram tour of the property and the boat tour with time to enjoy lunch “on your own before we depart. We’ll overnight in Rocky Mount and enjoy a real southern dinner at K & W Cafeteria.
Day 6 ~ Friday, October 12
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we check out and depart for home with a stop at the Lewis Ginter
Botanic Garden—Time to stretch your legs, explore and grab lunch “on your own” in the café.

Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular
America’s favorite holiday show, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, is full of fun and surprise the whole family will enjoy. Come see the famous high kicking Rockettes, the reenactment of the very first Christmas in the Living Nativity and journey into Santa’s magical workshop. Sign up early!
